Manserock Orchestra with Soloists Martti Syrjä and Pate Mustajärvi – Plus the Return of NEGATIVE – at Tampere’s Tammela Stadium on Saturday, August 1st, 2026!
A special Manserock at the Stadium concert will take place at Tampere’s Tammela Stadium on Saturday, August 1st, 2026. The concert will feature the All-Time Manserock Orchestra with soloists Martti Syrjä, Pate Mustajärvi, Mikko Alatalo, and Heikki Hela. One more guest soloist will be announced in December.
The lineup includes drummer Aku Syrjä, bassist Sami Ruusukallio, keyboardist Kalle Ruusukallio, and guitarist/producer Juha Torvinen. Background vocals will be provided by Toni Lähteenmäki, Nelli Petro, and Kalle Ruusukallio.
“The Manserock Orchestra is set to deliver a wide and even surprising repertoire of classic hits that fall under the beloved Manserock genre – performed by a unique and never-before-seen lineup. We’re already itching to get together, reminisce, and start rehearsals! The result deserves to be showcased in a full stadium,” says Juha Torvinen.
NEGATIVE Returns to the Stage
The evening will open with the long-awaited return of Tampere-based band NEGATIVE, hitting the stage again after a 13-year hiatus. The band had a remarkable international career for over a decade. They broke through in 2003 with the song The Moment of Our Love, and followed with hits like Still Alive, Frozen to Lose It All, In My Heaven, Planet of the Sun, Won’t Let Go, and End of the Line. NEGATIVE toured across the globe – even reaching fans in Japan and China – and was one of Finland’s biggest fan-frenzy-inducing rock bands. Their last public performance was in 2013.
“It’s amazing – and deeply nostalgic – to finally restart NEGATIVE. People have been asking for this comeback for years, and now the time felt right. We’re thrilled to bring these meaningful and beloved songs back to life on stage. We feel like kids again!” says frontman Jonne Aaron.
DJ Kicks Off the Concert Night
The concert evening will be kicked off and energized by rising Tampere-based DJ Tuomas of Finland, who has previously performed at events including the opening of the European Athletics Championships.
“We’re extremely honored to present the audience with such a one-of-a-kind concert experience at Finland’s most modern football stadium! Our opening concert last year received high praise for the stadium’s accessibility and functionality as a concert venue,” says event organizer Risto Niklas-Salminen from Tammelan Stadion Oy.
A Weekend Full of Visitors in Tampere
The concert weekend will bring tens of thousands of visitors to Tampere, as the city also hosts the prestigious Kuninkuusravit horse racing event at Teivo. With a Ravipassi (racing pass), visitors attending the races are also welcome to enjoy the Manserock at the Stadium concert.
“Manserock at the Stadium will offer not only entertainment for all fans of Finnish rock and NEGATIVE, but also a high-quality stadium evening program for horse racing visitors arriving in the city,” adds promoter Taija Holm from ProPromotion Oy.

Fans can get their photo taken with the All-Time Manserock Orchestra and NEGATIVE at a special photo wall set up at the Väinö Linna Square stage in Finlayson, Tampere. The setup includes a microphone and guitars and will be available until Sunday, October 5th.

NEGATIVE Plays from the City Clock Tower on Tampere Day
To celebrate Tampere Day (October 1st) and the return of NEGATIVE, the iconic Frenckell Clock Tower in downtown Tampere will play the band’s hit The Moment of Our Love on the hour – starting from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, October 1st.

Tickets for Manserock at the Stadium are available now via Lippu.fi. The field and certain sections of the stands have an age limit of 18+. Other seating areas are open to all ages. The recommended age limit is 15, and those younger are encouraged to attend with an adult.
